All
donations and bequeathals are very much welcome, helping to make
life that little easier for the patients at The Oaks. Donations
help provide essential medical and holistic equipment and little
extras like flowers and newspapers.

In April
2000, the Government revised the Gift Aid regulations. The arrangement
enabled charities to claim back from the Inland Revenue the tax
you have already paid on all donations and subscriptions made by
UK income tax or capital gains taxpayers.
For every pound you give to charity, you need to have earned £1.28
(at least), and it's that extra 28p per £1 that the Inland
Revenue returns to the charity.

used entirely for the future development of The Oaks.

Your Donations Are Helping |

Among many other
things, on behalf of the people of Moray and from their donations,
The Friends commissioned a stained glass window for The Retreat
Room of The Oaks.
The design for the window was by Fiona Copp of Keith Grammar School,
who won first place in a previous Friends Of The Oaks competition.
Our Committee awarded the commission of the window to Jennifer-Jane
Abbey Studio, who transferred Fiona's design into a beautiful window.
We were thrilled with the end result, certain in the knowledge that
all who visit the Spiritual Room will have a different life enhancing
experience from having viewed it.
We also raise funds for a wish list supplied by The Oaks Manager
and the Palliative Care Team each month.
Friends Of The Oaks would like to take this opportunity to say a
very big thankyou to the people of Moray, the support from whom
has made The Oaks Centre a reality.
